There may be times when you will benefit from clearing a traumatic event from the past using medicine based on the law of similars. Examples include surgery, an injection, an accident or concussion, or another traumatic event. The medicines used are energetic/homeopathic and are formulated as causal treatments for the event, helping to release the impinging effects of the trauma from the life force.

Similarly, there are times when various energetic medicines can be helpful for easing acute suffering that occurs with drug side effects, anxiety, or acute flare-ups that may have a seasonal connection. This can be discussed at an appointment.

  • HTMA is an objective test that shows how efficiently your body is converting food and oxygen into usable fuel. This process is known as metabolic typing, and understanding it can help you identify which foods are most supportive for your metabolism, as well as track your progress over time. The test also highlights key mineral levels and the ratios between them. For example, if your results show a very low tissue magnesium level, it can help explain certain chronic symptoms and indicate the need for more targeted magnesium replenishment while the underlying cause of the deficiency is being addressed.

An HTMA can also reveal whether there is hypo- or hyperfunction in systems like the adrenal and thyroid axis by examining mineral patterns. These mineral relationships provide valuable insight into hormone balance, blood sugar regulation, stress response, and whether your body is excreting toxic heavy metals.

All testing is processed by Trace Elements, Inc. in Texas.

  • This assessment includes two tests. The first one, called the Wheat Zoomer, measures how “leaky” the gut is by giving a score of your current intestinal permeability. It also looks at three antibodies: one that shows whether the tight junctions between the gut’s epithelial cells are damaged, one that reflects the strength of the gut wall’s muscle layer, and a third that shows how much bacterial waste (dysbiosis) is passing through the gut lining. When this waste gets through, it can raise inflammation in the body and may contribute to things like autoimmune symptoms, arthritis, brain fog, and weight changes. Each of these antibodies is measured in both IgG and IgA forms to show both longer-term and more recent immune activity.

The second test looks at food sensitivities by measuring IgG and IgA reactions to 96 different foods. According to the lab’s guidelines, any foods that hit the “sensitivity” threshold should be removed temporarily to help lower inflammation while the gut heals. These foods can be reintroduced later, once follow-up testing shows they no longer trigger an immune response.

Both tests are processed by Vibrant America, a laboratory located in California.

  • CoRe is a programmable bioresonance software system that’s been programmed in accordance with Heilkunst medicine and lifestyle therapeutic principles. It provides an objective way to assess your current state and identify which therapeutics may be most supportive. CoRe can also be useful for uncovering subconscious blockages—such as limiting beliefs or fears—as well as deeper disruptions in your overall life force or “living power.” In addition, this testing method can help reveal where different bio-energetic levels might not be integrating properly, allowing us to choose therapies that better support the re-integration and communication of these aspects of the mind-body. This testing can be helpful to ease suffering when other causal chains are already being tended to, such as appropriate dietary and lifestyle therapeutics.

BCST is a manual therapy that can provide relief to clients who are overly stressed, anxious, or tense, as well as those who are stiff and sore from an injury such as trauma to the head or spine. It helps restore the natural up–down cycle of primary respiration in the spinal fluid (cellular and physiological respiration, unrelated to the secondary respiration of the lungs). This natural rhythm can be interrupted for many reasons.

BCST is also effective at releasing tension within the body. This can facilitate greater mobility and openness in areas that may feel heavy, painful, or restricted. It is very relaxing to the nervous system, which is why it can be so effective; it can act like a “switch” to help settle someone in an overly stressed state, allowing healing and relief to enter into the session.

My touch is negotiated with the client, which provides a sense of safety and ensures the most effective holds for the client’s needs. Clients receiving a BCST session are encouraged to participate in a way that supports the integration of self-awareness by becoming receptive to the body’s feedback.
*For in-person appointments only.

 General FAQs

  • Each individual case is unique but generally, an initial appointment will involve discussion of your health history and realistic actionable steps to take with direction from Michelle on what and how to begin implementing the gut-microbiome healing lifestyle.

In some cases, there may be a need to treat acute symptoms with Energetic/Homeopathic Medicine or a plan set to utilize objective testing. This will all be discussed and determined based on the case.

  • Each individual case is unique but generally, a follow up appointment will involve discussion of improvements or concerns, discussion of food log and various challenges encountered with food preparation or implementation of suggestions from a previous appointment. Each follow up can be unique and is structured around the current priority for the client.

  • Objective testing may be beneficial in your case. Please refer to the section above on this page called ‘Testing Available’.

What To Expect

  • Heilkunst is a German term that doesn’t have a direct English translation. “Heil” means “whole” and “sound” while “kunst” means “art and science”. Heilkunst translates to “the art and science of making whole”. The term Heilkunst was utilized by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homeopathic Medicine in his body of work called ‘Organon der Heilkunst’, (Organon of Medical Art). Within the evolution of Heilkunst, it is observed that disease and disorder/imbalance must be addressed from two different sides of the living power, the generative and sustentive/homeostatic sides, respectively. A practitioner of Heilkunst understands these principles and applies therapeutics as required for the case based on this understanding.

General Inquiries

  • You will be provided with detailed instructions once you purchase a hair tissue mineral analysis. Please see the video below, “How To Take Your Hair Sample” for additional help.

  • Minerals are very important for cellular function and are a requirement for good health and abundant energy levels. Minerals were originally referred to as the "spark plugs of life" by Dr. Henry Schroeder in his book “The Trace Elements and Man”. (Trace Elements, Inc., 2011, p 3). The importance of minerals comes to light in the following statement, from an interview with Dr. Paul Eck: "Every single physical living cell on earth is derived totally from minerals and mineral-based compounds. Every single living body cell, including the DNA genetic codes themselves, are dependant upon minerals for both their structure and function".(Chatsworth & Eck, p 112).

A deficiency of certain minerals will undermine the ability of the body to utilize its full scope of nutrients. We also need the correct amount and the right minerals for hormone and enzyme production that support many body systems. (Trace Elements, Inc., 2011, p 3).

A hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) reveals important mineral relationships and their ratios that reflect the degree of imbalance in the biochemical system at the mineral level. Once you have this knowledge, you can select fitting foods and supplements that are specific to what you need at this time to work towards balancing your metabolic system.

  • No. HTMA is not intended for diagnosis. It is used to gather vital information about the holistic nature of the dynamic mineral system.

  • As you heal and seal the gut lining and repair the microbiome, absorption of minerals and other key nutrients will be enhanced. HTMA can serve as an effective test to monitor progression.

There are other times when a HTMA can be advantageous on a case by case basis. We can discuss this as the need arises.

  • We require minerals for daily functioning. If they are not being replenished through our diet, we can become deficient. Other causes of mineral imbalance are acute illnesses such as those involving fever, acute stressors, and toxic exposure. From a broader scope, stress and trauma, lack of sleep, dietary habits, medications, vaccinations, and toxins in the air, water, and food supply as well as certain nutritional supplements (when taken and not required), could disrupt the mineral patterns.
